Only problem is the Dutch version by Anita Berry which is in fact a cover of a cover. So Günter Loose wrote different translations for the same tune IMHO "Weiße Möwe, flieg in die Ferne" and "Der Herr Andonis" have the same tune and therefore are both adaptations of Ò κυρ' Αντωνης or Ò κυρ' Αντωνης GEMA "Der Herr Andonis" as an alternate title for a song with the same name as the Valente tune (and of course brings up the same work number), but the one by Valente and the one by Lenadros are completely different tunes. However, this work number is already linked to Der Herr Andonis by Vicky Leandros, which shares the same credits. ![]() GEMA lists a song by this name with work number 519134-001. Las Vegas critics raved about the extraordinary talent of the young European. This was followed by the worldwide hit 'The Breeze and I'. In 1955 Gordon MacRae presented her on the 'Colgate Comedy Hour' as the 'Malaguena' Girl. In 1954 Caterina Valente introduced herself to European audiences with her recordings of 'Istanbul' and 'I love Paris'. Going through some more stuff by Anita Berry, I found a Dutch cover of a 1962 Caterina Valente song called "Weiße Möwe, flieg in die Ferne", with music by Manos Hadjidakis and words by Gunter Loose.
